Making jewellry is for me a truely fulfilling process.  Tapping  into and using  ancient traditions and techniques like reticulation, to produce a surface texture and keum-boo, the Korean art of gilding in 24ct gold, I find very satisfying and rewarding.   Taking  raw unprocessed silver and moulding,  shaping, piercing, hammering and ultimately firing - transforming metal into desirable pieces of jewellery I find engrossing and  just a lovely experience .  I hope each piece I make captures some of this spirit and gives as much pleasure, fulfilment and enjoyment to the person who wears and owns it as I have had in its making.

My work can also be seen and purchased on Folksy.
